Laffey's Red Ruby
This is our heifer calf, Ruby, from our 2013 babies. She is growing nicely and waiting for some decent weather to update her photos! We'll start calving soon, so check back for updates. We'll have more gorgeous babies this year out of our herd bull, Mojo.
 Laffey's Triumph
Triumph was born April 2013. (Maddie x Bees Knees) He is as sweet as he is gorgeous! We are hoping for spring to arrive so we can get a good bath, some green grass and updated pictures.

We got over a foot of snow. We're not complaining since we definitely needed the moisture....but it would have been more fun to have rain!

The Laffey kids showed in their first dairy cow show.
The CHAMPION in the "other breeds" category was Peanut.
 This is Peanut in the Finals.
The latest news at Laffey's Irish Animals is.....4-H! We are training our Dexter cows to show in the dairy category this year.  Dexters are can be either beef or dairy. They are shown as a specialty breed.
